I decided to do this “series” called Beyond the Premium Starter Kit because I myself was not sure what I wanted to try next once I was ready to venture out and try a few oils that did not come in the Premium Starter Kit from Young Living.

Basically, I am going to pick my 10 favorite oils (I have tried) that are not in the Premium Starter Kit and do a post about each one.

These will not be in any specific order because even narrowing it down to  just 10 was hard enough! I will tell you a little about each oil, suggested uses, what I use them for, and why! I will do a post on each oil and hopefully it will help those of you who are looking to explore new oils, but not sure where to go next!

My first favorite oil “Beyond the Premium Starter Kit” is Northern Lights Black Spruce.

My favorite way to utilize Northern Lights Black Spruce is to diffuse it in my Aria diffuser and sit by the fire with a cup of tea and a good book.  The scent is so relaxing and creates an amazing atmosphere when combined with the soothing scents and  sounds of a fire.

Northern Lights Black Spruce can also be utilized as an affordable, chemical-free “cologne” when combined with Young Living’s V6 oil or fractionated coconut oil in a dark glass roller bottle with a metal ball.

It’s my guy’s new favorite scent! He is not one to wear cologne, but he rolls this on his neck daily and even carries it around in his pocket! I love the way it smells on him and he loves the rich, woodsy aroma! Win, win!

I would love to hear what you think of this oil and definitely give it a try if you haven’t already!

How do YOU use Young Living’s Northern Lights Black Spruce!?
